Preventive maintenance ensures that the equipment is in optimal condition and performs as required. The primary goal of preventive maintenance is to avoid or minimize the consequences of equipment failure. Preventive maintenance consists of activities performed at predefined frequencies and intervals.

    1. Make sure the tank plug on the hydraulic tank is tightened and does not leak.
    2. Check the track tension by adding grease through the grease inset.
    3. Check for loose nuts and bots on the bottom rollers.
    4. Check for loose nuts and bolts on the sprocket.
    5. Charge the battery packs.

      Monthly

        1. Replace any damaged or broken hydraulic lines.
        2. Check the rubber track belt for damage.
        3. Check the wear limits on the front idler.
        4. Check for wear limits on the bottom rollers.
        5. Check the wear limits on the drive sprocket.
        6. Using an air compressor, remove any dust or debris from the inverter.
        7. Using an air compressor, remove any dust or debris from the charger.
        8. Using an air compressor, remove any dust or debris from the 48v and 12v batteries.

          Yearly or every 10,000 operation hours. Whichever is first

            1. Check wear and tear of the pins and bushings. Replace if necessary.
            2. Change the hydraulic oil and oil filter.
            3. Replace the 12v battery
